Guardian Medical is seeking an experienced and motivated Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our expanding team serving patients injured in motor vehicle accidents and other personal injury cases throughout Colorado.
This is an excellent opportunity for a PA who enjoys patient care, values collaboration, and wants to work within a unique medical model focused on helping injured patients recover while ensuring thorough medical documentation and coordinated care.
You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, pain management specialists, orthopedic surgeons, chiropractors, physical therapists, and case management professionals dedicated to delivering comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive new patient evaluations and follow-up visits
- Obtain detailed histories and conduct physical examinations
- Develop and implement treatment plans under physician supervision
- Order and review diagnostic imaging and testing when appropriate
- Coordinate care with specialists including pain management, orthopedics, neurology, and rehabilitation providers
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical documentation
- Educate patients regarding injuries, treatment plans, and recovery expectations
- Participate in telehealth visits as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care
- Assist in identifying patients who may benefit from specialty referrals or advanced treatment options
Qualifications
- Current Colorado Physician Assistant License in good standing
- NCCPA Certification required
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment
- Professional demeanor and strong patient-centered approach
- Experience in Personal Injury, Orthopedics, Emergency Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Pain Management, Family Medicine, or Urgent Care preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required

Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Leadership: Perform comprehensive evaluations, establish definitive diagnoses, and design individualized functional restoration and treatment plans for complex musculoskeletal and trauma-related injuries.
- Team Collaboration & Oversight: Provide expert clinical guidance and supervision to advanced practice providers (PAs) and collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary network of physical therapists and specialists.
- Advanced Diagnostics: Order and interpret advanced diagnostic imaging (MRI, CT, DTI) and electrodiagnostic testing (EMG/NCV) to precisely guide care.
- Documentation Excellence: Ensure all medical narratives, final evaluations, and care plans meet the highest clinical standards for clarity, accuracy, and completeness.
- Care Coordination: Act as the central medical authority, identifying patients who require specialty surgical or interventional pain referrals and managing their continuum of care.
Qualifications
- Education & Licensure: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution with an active, unrestricted Colorado Medical License.
- Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R). Double-boarded or fellowship training in Pain Management or Sports Medicine is a plus.
- Clinical Focus: A deep passion for musculoskeletal medicine, trauma recovery, and functional restoration.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to leading clinical and administrative teams.
